Information Collection and Use
ASA is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We reserve the right to share certain information with trusted third-party vendors that provide contracted services for ASA and its membership.
Information collected on the ASA Web site from ASA members is done to fulfill requests inclusive of, but not limited to, ordering ASA materials, and asking for ASA assistance. ASA will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement.
Email
The email addresses of ASA members and others who subscribe to our email newsletter cannot be sold or rented to anyone, including business partners, advertisers, and providers of insurance or other member benefits. We do provide members' email addresses to the company that distributes our email newsletters, and that company is contractually bound not to use those addresses for any other purpose or to make them available to anyone else.
ASA members who change or provide their address will automatically be subscribed to ASA’s newsletter. Upon receipt of the email newsletter, the user may decide to opt-out of the email distribution list by following the instructions at the bottom of the email message.
Members may call the Secretary of ASA to have their names removed from the ASA email address list, and thereafter will receive no email communications from ASA or its members.

Cookies are pieces of information that a Web site transfers to an individual's hard drive for record-keeping purposes. The use of cookies is an industry standard -- you'll find them at most major Web sites.
At the time of signing in as a member or a guest, ASA does not set a cookie on your machine. This information simply identifies you as a member or guest. The cookie facilitates you gaining access to protected areas of the site, pre-populates information on certain forms to save you from re-keying your information, and delivers custom content and images. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. You can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, note that the ASA Web site is not set up to plant cookies in your computer.
